About the design..
The ThinkPad Edge 11 is 1.1" thick and weighs 3.3 pounds approximately 1.50 Kgs. It is out with a glossy lid and silver edge, made of plastic. This adornes with 3 USB sockets, combo headphone and mic, VGA, HDMI and Ethernet jacks.
About the usuability and screen..
The Lenovos trademark chicklet keyboard, black matte keys and cutting edge finish gives this a terrible look. In addition, it has got two full sized Shift keys but function keys are shrunken down with icons, softy signature TrackPoints in the middle and the ThinkPad logo to its right.
Talking about the display, the ThinkPad Edge has a glossy 11.6" display with a screen resolution of 1366 X 768, a Social Network trailer and a Low light Webcam. This webcam can display fairly even in a dark room.
About the performance and battery..
Since this machine has a Intel i3 core processor and a 2GB RAM there are no issues with multitasking. With regards to the graphics the ThinkPad Edge fully relies on Intel GMA HD graphics, which is fine in case of 720p and 1080p but not rest others. Battery life wise, this machine has got a 63 Whr 6-cell battery which can last for 3.5 to 4 hours.
So what else you want this ultra-portable is definitely better than U160 and X100e.
What is the price? This is what you were waiting for....
$550 / Approx INR 25,000
