Know How: What is the difference between LCD, LED and Plasma TVs

LCD – Stands for Liquid Crystal Display
LED – Stands for Light Emitting Diode
Plasma TV – Contains Ionized gasses

LCD TVs

LCD Tvs are like conventional Computer Monitors but bigger in size. The emit light from special component called Cold Cathode fluorescent lamps.

LED TVs

The LED TVs are similar to LCD TVs but little enhanced version. Instead of using Cold Cathode fluorescent lamps, LED TV emit light from Light Emitting Diodes arranged in Rows and Columns.

Plasma TVs

The Plasma TV uses electrically charge small cells that contain ionized gas to display the vibrant and colorful images.
