30 years of the Internet

The Internet was developed in the Americas in 1970s. The world famous universities like University of California and Stanford Research institute introduced the Internet to the world. Pretty much anything can be found on the internet. It is one of the very cheap and widely used technologies by mankind.

Why we are talking about the Internet suddenly now?Well today marks the 30 years for the Internet.

Although the Internet was basically developed for military projects with the name Arpanet, soon gone public and today it is one of the strongest and highly secured technologies.

It has gone through several life cycles from the late 1960s till early 1980s. Then in order to make the Internet more safe and robust, on January 1983 changes are done on the older system to support new protocols to make it compatible with hosting system, interlinks, hypertext documents, XMLs, DHTMLS, and CSS. Today it is called as world wide web.
